Vincent Wrenn

Director of Photography

Vincent considers himself lucky—an artist whose job became his vocation. He "plays with light," lenses, and frames, shaping stories with depth and tone while collaborating closely with directors.

Since shifting to documentaries in 2016, he’s worked with Allen Hughes on The Defiant Ones for HBO, a visually striking doc that gained widespread recognition. He’s also collaborated with Davis Guggenheim and recently shot The Age of Disclosure, which premiered at SXSW (2025) to strong reviews in both trades and mainstream media.

No stranger to narrative work, Vincent honed his craft on TV movies and limited series, developing a deep respect for both. He has shot seven indie features and countless shorts. Finding Pa’ marks his first narrative collaboration since moving to the East Coast, and he’s eager to help bring this story to life.
